Craig and Ellen have lived in Vancouver since 1994. Previous to Origin, they served with Cityview Baptist Church.
Craig and Ellen are both graduates of the University of Georgia in Athens and of Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. In 2003 Craig completed his Doctorate of Ministry from Golden Gate Theological Seminary with a focus on urban cross-cultural leadership development.
Craig and Ellen have four children and enjoy being parents. Together as a family they can often be found exploring the beauty of the West Coast or the dynamic urban life of Vancouver.
Peter and Michaela immigrated to Canada over 20 years ago. Peter completed his BA in Music and spent 4 years in Russia as a missionary. He completed his MDiv and MAEL at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in California. Michaela studied at University of Toronto and worked as a certified court interpreter in the States. She has been a student at Regent College in the UBC campus community. They planted RockBridge Church with a vision for the 1.5 and 2ndgeneration Korean-Canadians and most recently have lead the team planting uVillage Church that gathers on Boundary Road in Vancouver.
Susan is a graduate of the University of Calgary, Alberta with a degree in civil engineering. She worked in Vancouver for four years with an engineering firm before making the shift to serving full-time with Origin Church. Susan serves as a Campus Minister with oversight for discipleship and outreach in the City of Vancouver. She enjoys teaching and sharing her life with students and young professionals watching them embody God’s Word in their lives.
Joshua serves as a campus minister with Origin Church. He joined our team in May 2024 after serving on a church staff, and in campus ministry in Alberta at the University of Alberta and MacEwan University. Joshua brings years of ministry experience and a love for students to UBC. He is leading our team for first year engagement, evangelism, and discipleship. He is married to Susan Guo.
